More about Chanel Travel Line

The first, now called the ‘Old’ Travel Line, was released between 1997 and 1999. Each piece in this collection is crafted of black nylon, which is contrasted with the brand’s traditional diamond quilting in white and interior lining in crimson red. Intended to be more practical, specifically for the house’s jet setting customers, Chanel’s ‘Old’ Travel Line consists of roller suitcases, duffels, backpacks, and money belts.

The second, now called the ‘New’ Travel Line, was released between 2002 and 2008. Each piece in this collection is still crafted of nylon, but is screen printed with Karl Lagerfeld’s tonal, ‘CC’ square quilting. Though available in neutrals, Chanel’s ‘New’ Travel Line is known for its pastel hues (powder blue, baby pink, and pale yellow). This second collection consists of both travel and everyday styles. From the Pet Carrier to the Chocolate Bar, there is a ‘New’ Travel Line bag for everyone.

Since discontinued, both lines are extremely rare and highly sought after. Shop our stock and add one to your collection now.

Carrying a bag from Chanel’s ‘New’ or ‘Old’ Travel Line collections, you will embark on the style voyage of your dreams.
